This report provides updates on numerous Minnesota cities and counties that have adopted local housing trust funds at escalating rates since the adoption of a 2017 state law defining housing trust funds. With Minnesota adopting a state match program, it is anticipated new funds will be continued to be established and existing funds enhanced. Many more communities will be able to use local funds to achieve their housing needs and priorities.
